[S9114] Japanese Samurai Sword: Mumei Wakizashi in Shirasaya

Wakizashi in shirasaya.
Mumei (no signature) This blade was shortened and lost its signature in the cutting.

I think this is a beautiful old polish. Has some scratches on the blade near the tip (picture)
Without any nicks, cracks, pitting or rust.
total length: 24 inches
Nagasa (blade length): 18 3/4 inches.  Sori (curvature): 1/8 inches.
Moto-haba (width at the bottom by back notch): 1 inch.
Kasana: (thickness) 3/16 inch
The tang has very old black rust with three punch holes. Tang hasn't been cleaned and the rust is a very deep rust.
The tip is in great condition without damage.
The edge is straight without damage and has not been sharpened.
Wood storage case is in great shape.
Habaki is in very nice shape
this is an early or mid edo period sword.
