    Description

    Uda Kunimune 宇多国宗 Ko-Wakizashi
Signature is not verified, but it seems to compare well to other signed works of Uda Kunimune, I believe this sword could possibly be either the 2nd or 3rd generation of swordsmith.
    Basic Measurements and features:
    Hira-zukuri shape
    Nagasa – 13.75”/35cm
Nakago – seems to have Katte Sagari yasurime/Kurijiri end
Sori – has only the slightest sori, appears to be saki-sori
    Iori-Mune
    Motokasane
    4.9mm
    Sakikasane 3.9mm
    Motohaba
    27.4mm
    Sakihaba 22.9mm
Appears to have a chu-suguha hamon as best as I can tell.
Sword has various kizu and patina throughout, but as far as I can see, none are fatal flaws.
Koshirae is in decent shape, 1 menuki appears to be missing as well as the kozuka that was meant for the saya. Saya is also missing the horn piece to tension the kozuka in place. Overall though it is still in pretty decent condition.
All of the above are approximations based on my measurements and research and therefore may not be exact.
Overall the sword would require a polish to fully appreciate.
