Petersburg Mutual Savings Bank Souvenir Building (Vintage Banthrico)

Description

For sale is a vintage souvenir building replica of the Petersburg Mutual Savings Bank, located in Petersburg, VA.
The souvenir building coin bank was issue by Banthrico in the mid-60s and is in excellent condition.
The bank measures 4-3/4" x 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" tall.
Banthrico made two versions of this bank, in bronze and copper -- this one has the scarcer copper finish.
The detail on the bank is excellent and accurate, right down to the name of the bank on both sides of the roof and over the front doors.
The bottom trap is intact, though there is no key.
