    Description

Panasonic RR-DR60 Digital IC Recorder. Amazing for capturing EVP and just in time for Halloween for capturing ghost Hunt Hunting Paranormal audio.
    Tested and working!
If you looking at this listing, you already know that this recorder is amazing! I have used it on many investigations and it was my go-to recorder every time. In the photos you can see the recorder has some minor scratches and scuffs, these do not effect devices performance.
    Includes:
    • Panasonic RR-DR60
    • Original box
    • Owners manual
    • Audio adapters
(so you can plug in regular head phones)
The DR-60 recorder is clunky, hard to use and unintuitive. But, that isn't what makes it special. The device was designed to only record when it hears sounds or talking. But these recorders have a design flaw. It will record sounds slightly below 20hz (below human hearing) and play it back above 20hz. When you play it back, anything below 20hz has a rougher sound to it, I assume this is due to the recorder trying to handle the sound conversion on playback. Capturing EVP's in ranges we can't hear!
I loved using this device, it allowed us to check out a room and ask several questions and get a gauge on the room or space quickly. If we didn't get any hits, we would move on. If we got something, we could keep asking questions. Because we could review the EVP session so fast. For example, you could ask 3 or 4 questions over 10 minutes with some silence gaps. And because the recorder is only voice activated listening to your EVP session is really quick. There isn't an option to disable that, that is how it is made.
I've had this recorder for a very long time and kept great care of it between events, I removed the batteries and wiped it down and put it back into the box. I moved and no longer am part of the paranormal group so I am selling my equipment. I will be sad to see it go, but happy that it is going to someone that will use it!
This is a video of me using this recorder back in 2008 on the USS North Carolina and capturing some amazing EVP's with it. I'm holding the video camera, and you can see this recorder on the table. All of the EVP's in this video were captured from the DR60.

    BONUS UPDATE!
I will include the RR-QR80 with this auction! It was a great device, and used it along side my DR-60.
Tested the device, the recorder works great.
