    Description

    Up for sale is a fine specimen of a Lackawaxen type point. This artifact is made from a beautiful Onondaga type chert which is rare in itself....usually these types were made from lower grade materials. This is a very symmetric specimen and displays beautifully. It was recovered from Cattaraugus co. New York. It measures in at 2 3/8"  long x 7/8" wide. The artifact is from the ex  Lang collection and Iron Horse collection of Mickey Taylor. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout, so rest assured of  its authenticity.
