Description
For sale is a souvenir building replica of Turin, Italy's famous Mole Antonelliana Tower, which dominated the skyline of the 2006 Winter Olympics.
I
t rests atop a pin/paperclip tray and/or ashtray, alongside a perpetual calendar in Italian.
The front reads: Ricordo di Torino. Originally conceived of as a synagogue, the building now houses the National Museum of Film.
The tower is 5 1/2" in height on a 1 3/4" sq. base.
It is silver in color and in excellent, undamaged condition.
The tips of many of these models are often broken off given their fragile nature, but this one is large and intact.
The calendar works well and shows the days of the week, the dates, and months in Italian.
Overall, the piece measures 5" x 4 1/4".
Shipping includes insurance and signature tracking (to minimize the
possibility
of loss to 'porch pirates').
