    This is a Japanese sword
    wakiza
    shi
    in
    shirosaya
    mountings.  The blade is signed "Echizen ju Mutsu-no kami Fujiwara Nobusada 越前住, 陸奥守藤原信貞",
    shinogi-zukuri
    shape, Edo period ca. 1670 era made blade.
    It came with NTHK Kanteisho paper, submitted on 3, Feb, 1980.     The blade is in old full polish, no rust, no stain and in mint condition.     The temper line is wavy

    active temper pattern and has deep temper at the point.      The forging grain is tight
