    This is a Japanese sword

    mountings.  The blade is signed "Echigo-no kami Fujiwara Kinmichi 越後守藤原金道",
    hira-zuku
    ri
    shape with
    bohi
    engravings, Edo period ca. 1630 era made blade.
    It came with NBTHK Kicho paper, submitted on 27, May, 1967.     The blade is in old full polish, no rust, no stain and in good condition.     The temper line is wavy
    gunome-choji

    konie
    active temper pattern and has deep temper at the point.      The forging grain is
    itame-hada

    no openings, no blister and no forging flaws
    .     There is no bend, no nick, no crack and cutting edge is razor sharp.      The blade is rested in ho-wood

    , no crack, no dent and in
    good condition.
