Antique Japanese Sword Nihonto Wakizashi Signed Jumyo In Koshirae.
Fresh vintage sale find. My understanding is that this piece and another with matching koshirae were brought back from WWII And kept in the mans possession until being donated to a vintage shop. I’ve done enough research to just know what the name says. I will provide the best pictures possible of areas of concern and make no claim regarding the flaws or their type.
Saya: poor condition, major issues have been photoed. Needs repair.
Kozuka included.
Mekugi: needs proper new one, hardware fits loosely.
Ito: wrapping seems tight and in good shape, I cannot tell any issues.
