    Description

    Completely original and unrestored 16th Century small scale Iyozane Do Maru Dou Samurai cuirass. A rare type of dou. No hinge type, clan mon on chest but the gold is flaked off to the point that I cannot identify it. Liner of thick hardened leather is present front and back. Feels hard as rock. Tortoise shell fasteners and gold eyelets. This is not a coddled Edo piece, it has been through a civil war.
